2019 GMC Yukon Denali, Interior, Diesel, Price

The famous full-size SUV is probably entering the last year of production, as 2019 GMC Yukon. As you may know, the current generation is present since 2014. Considering that GM insists on shorter production cycles of its most popular models, as well as the fact that the new-generation Sierra is on its ways, it is pretty clear that the new version of this SUV will come in a year or two. Until then, we are about to see no bigger changes. Current design characteristics will carry on to the next year, though we could see some minimal additions. Also, it should be mentioned that some rumors suggest new 10-speed automatic transmission to be offered across the whole model’s lineup. In any case, don’t expect 2019 Yukon to come earlier than usual. It should happen late in the year.

2019 GMC Yukon Should Present the Last Year Model of the Current Generation

The current model is present on the market for some time and the redesign seems pretty close. As you probably know, this model rides on the same platform as famous Sierra and Chevy Silverado trucks, which are about to come completely new for the next year. This is a clear indicator that 2019 GMC Yukon is about to be the last year model of the current generation. In practice, this means no bigger changes. We are about to see a familiar styling, as well as completely same mechanics. Still, some minor updates are possible. Expect to see few new exterior colors, while a new 10-speed automatic transmission is expected to be offered in all trim levels.

The cabin of 2019 GMC Yukon will also remain pretty untouched. We are about to see a familiar dashboard layout, though there is a chance to see some new standard features. The most important novelty should be an all-new MyLink infotainment system. Besides new multimedia, we could also see some new color schemes. A trim level organization will remain the same, though each model should get few novelties.

The base model is called SLE. Although the cheapest version of the SUV, it comes with a lot of standard equipment. Some of the notable features are 18-inch wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, 8-inch touchscreen, 9-speaker audio system and a bunch of other interesting things. For the next year, a nice novelty would be some of the advanced safety systems, such as automatic braking, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning and intervention.

A mid-range SLT gives a nice boost in terms of comfort and convenience. There are power-adjustable seats, heated and ventilated seats, driver memory settings and much more.

Finally, there is a top-level Denali trim, which besides more equipment also comes with several unique visual details, as well as with new suspension and several additional mechanical tweaks.
